What We Believe
Lumpkin Road is an
independent, fundamental Baptist church. We believe in the fundamental
doctrines of historical biblical Christianity, including the inerrancy of
scripture, the Trinity, the virgin birth and sinless life of Jesus Christ,
His vicarious atonement for sin, His resurrection, the indwelling of the
Holy Spirit in every believer, and the imminent return of Christ.
We use the King
James Version of the Bible in our preaching and teaching. We believe that
while other versions may add to one's understanding of some passages, the
King James Version is the most accurate translation of the most reliable original
manuscripts. |
